T-Boz doesn’t call out Nicki by name, but it’s clear she’s calling out the newer crop of reality singing competition judges who still have a lot to prove.
(Of course, Nicki does sing on many of her tracks — but on many, at least, there’s some definite electronic enhancement going on. Whether or not Nicki’s really a singer remains to be seen.)
Then again, T-Boz doesn’t seem to be a fan of reality TV in general: “You’re on TV gyrating and boning and sucking penises. It’s not talent, honey,” she fires, and we can only make educated guesses about which reality TV talent she might be referring to.

Nicki can sing. She may not be a Mariah Carey but she can sing. On the other hand you don’t have to be a singer in order to judge a music show. Tommy Mottolla and Clive Davis doesn’t sing but they can pick great talent. T-Boz is hating!!!
