Pink‘s video for her latest single “Try” was one of our favorites of the year — emotionally complex, gorgeously shot and executed and featuring some of the most remarkable choreography in recent memory — so it came as a dazzling surprise when she chose to perform that song at the 2012 American Music Awards by recreating the video. What’s even more impressive is how all of the physically demanding choreography was replicated faultlessly during the live show, making it an instant standout. The best moment, though, was when Pink took a moment to take in the eruption from the crowd — which sounded even more deafening than most of the applause throughout the course of the evening.
