One Direction’s Zayn Malik Feuds With The Wanted’s Max George On Twitter
America is a divided nation, and the recent presidential election only served to highlight the country’s serious rift. But even at its worst, when the campaign ads went for the jugular and family dinners devolved into screaming matches about taxes, we never experienced the sheer polarization and contempt that looms over Britain in a world with One Direction and The Wanted. The British boy band blood feud escalated over the weekend, as 1D’s Zayn Malik enaged in a Twitter spat with Max George of The Wanted.
It all started when George tweeted a photo of himself with PSY, along with the hashtag “#geekandproud.” Malik then replied, “the first step is acceptance #geekoftheweek.” Seems harmless, right? Well, soon the two were taking style and vocal potshots, lobbing STD insults and dropping curse words. We’re just glad PSY came out unscathed. Read on for the Twitter blow-by-blow.
