Big Boi teamed up with fellow Atlanta rappers T.I. and Ludacris for “In The A,” a heavy hometown anthem with a diversionary title. Featuring a lurching beat, it’s all Southern braggadocio and comes as a dramatic shift from the funkier album cuts we’ve already heard (“Lines,” “Mama Told Me”). In fact, it may be Sir Luscious Left Foot’s hardest track since Stankonia‘s “Gangsta Shit” (which, like this song, had a whammy bar motif floating among the cage-rattling bass).
“In The A” was produced by Showdown, DJ Aries, & Black Owned C-Bone and appears on Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumors (out December 11). Hear it after the jump.
