Did You Hear?

:: Justin Bieber was Bing’s most searched person in 2011, but this year he was edged out by Kim Kardashian. Biebs still finished as the top musician, on a list primarily comprising pop megastars. Selena Gomez this year sprung to #6 on the list, probably thanks to her Bieber drama. [Bing]

:: Big Sean says he recorded a song for Cruel Winter, the sequel to G.O.O.D. Music’s Cruel Summer compilation. He was mum about a pre-Christmas release, but said that unlike the original, this comp will actually come out during the season it’s named after. [Complex]

:: Lenny Kravitz is playing Marvin Gaye in a biopic about the late singer. This is Kravitz’s first lead role, and he’ll begin filming next year. [Rolling Stone]

:: Ricky Martin is ending his run as Che in the revival of Andrew Lloyd Weber’s Evita musical. His final performance is on January 26. As for what’s next, the Latin pop star may get his own TV show and has hinted at plans to make new music. [Billboard]

:: Paul McCartney is returning to Saturday Night Live for the Martin Short-hosted Christmas episode on December 15. He last performed on (and took over) the show in 2010, and this will be his fourth time playing SNL. [Spin]
