Tegan And Sara’s “Closer” Video: See The Celebratory Clip
Tegan and Sara‘s newest single “Closer” has been on heavy rotation for us this fall, with the sisters Quin giving their indie pop sound a dancefloor-friendly spin courtesy of Greg Kurstin‘s shimmering production. Now, the video has officially premiered, which shows Tegan and Sara having a hell of a time getting rowdy at a house party with a host of friends, replete with karaoke mics, makeout sessions and indoor camping. (That’s right: Indoor camping!)
Although the band’s videos have been fairly high-concept in the past, the clear storytelling of “Closer” is a lovely shift for them — and the visuals fit the song’s celebratory sound perfectly. Tegan & Sara’s next album, Heartthrob, hits retailers January 29, 2013. Watch the Isaac Rentz-directed clip up top.
