Lady Gaga’s ‘ARTPOP’ Has “Like 50 Songs”

Things we’ve already been told by Lady Gaga about her forthcoming opus ARTPOP: that it will be a “multimedia experience,” that it will have a “Telephone” sequel, that it will be split into two volumes, that it will probably include a possibly feminist song called “G.U.Y. (Girl Under You),” that it is aiming to be historic and that it probably involves the kind-of-a-joke (but not really a joke) trap song “Cake.” And now, the Lady herself has tweeted that she has “written like 50 songs” for the album.

Gaga went on to explain that she had a similar amount of material going into The Fame/The Fame Monster, which we’ll count as 1.5 volumes. So, this sounds incredibly…reasonable, actually.
