JoJo has dropped another fierce single single from her Agápē mixtape, “Andre.” And unlike the take-it-as-it-comes breeziness of first cut “We Get By,” in this song JoJ0 takes what she wants, extolling the great things about “her Andre.” The JoJo-penned song was inspired by Outkast‘s Andre 3000 (“Always fly as he wanna be / Cooler than a mother…People think he’s strange / But he never try to hide it”), so it makes sense that the track features undulating bass, spacey synth plinks and a warped breakdown near the end. And, of course, JoJo’s absolutely commanding vocal still manages to steal the attention away from all that. Hear the song after the jump.
