Big Boi teams up with Kid Cudi to wallow in the melancholy sheen of “She Hates Me,” the latest cut off Boi’s Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumors (out December 11). It’s far less frenetic than the fare we’ve already heard from the album, as Daddy Fat Sax rhymes about a deteriorating relationship (“The shoe still fits but I’m wearin’ out the sole”). Cudi eschews rapping here and brings only his polarizing singing voice, so your impression of the song will probably depend on how you feel about Cudders the crooner.
