Last night’s The X Factor results show went big with the performances, featuring lively sets from Bruno Mars, who performed his recent #1 hit “Locked Out of Heaven” — a song which we had literally never seen Mars perform live before, ever (just kidding! He’s been playing it all week, everywhere, inescapably) — and Bridgit Mendler, singing “Ready Or Not.” (We actually hadn’t seen her on stage before.)
So how did they fare? Mars’ set was energetic, if a little by-the-numbers, but his vocals were solid and the production was slick. Mendler started off a little shaky, but eventually found her footing. Watch Mars up top, then see Mendler after the jump.
