Madonna Had 2012’s Top-Grossing Tour, Lady Gaga Comes In At #6
Madonna‘s MDNA tour was the year’s highest-grossing trek, according to Billboard. After 72 shows (all sell-outs) of ass-flashing, Gaga-hating and tumbling in front of 1.6 million fans, Madge raked in $228,406,085. Her rival Lady Gaga came in at #6 with $124,879,545 from her Born This Way Ball. Jay-Z and Kanye West‘s Watch The Throne tour earned them $46,986,464 on just 31 shows, good enough for the ninth spot. Other notable entries: Coldplay at #5 with $147,188,828, Justin Bieber at #20 with $30,667,737 and Taylor Swift at #24 with $26,310,160. Check out the full list here.
