Azealia Banks started 2013 the same way she started 2012: with a Twitter beef! This time, the Harlem rapper is in a spat with her one-time pal Angel Haze, stemming from Banks’ rather innocuous tweet reading, ”Seriously, if you were not born and raised in NY…. DON’T CLAIM NY. YOU ARE NOT A NEW YORKER.” NYC transplant Angel Haze must’ve taken it personally, and soon they were @replying each other and things got vulgar and juvenile.
Insults about fashion sense, genitalia and (ugh) skin color ensued — most of them dished out by Angel Haze. Several of Angel’s relevant tweets have been deleted, but we have some screenshots below, along with some of Azealia’s notable posts. Classy all around.
