Demi Lovato isn’t going to let anything ruin her new year, even if that means she has to take a break from Twitter for a while. The X Factor judge tweeted a mini-rant about friends, trust, and communication on January 3 before deciding to take a “breather” from the social network completely the next day. She blamed gossip sites for causing drama and making up stories, but it’s unclear which particular headline perturbed her the most.
While her Lovatics must be bummed, we can’t say we blame her. She’s been in a good place recently and usually uses Twitter to share her positivity and optimism with fans. “She tweets this stuff pretty often, sounds like sound life advice,” her rep said. Her account is still activated, so surely she’ll be back. Right?
