Well, that little rapscallion was telling the truth after all! After Justin Bieber tweeted that he was “maybe” going to pull a double shift on Saturday Night Live, Billboard has confirmed that the singer will take on hosting and singing duties for the February 9 episode. Earlier this season, Bruno Mars hosted and performed, in what was one of the show’s stronger episodes of 2012.
Bieber previously appeared on SNL as the musical guest in April 2010, back when his swoop had a life of its own. He was featured in one sketch during that episode, which we’ve embedded below. And for anyone who thinks maybe his comedy chops have deteriorated with his old age, well, remember, this is the guy who relaunched MTV’s Punk’d. Plus, there was the lul-tastic blooper reel from his Macy’s ad. So, yeah…Bruno who?
