Is she in or is she out? Well, this bit of news will do nothing to end the guessing game. Fox president Kevin Reilly said he wants Britney Spears to return to The X Factor for season 3. Speaking at the Television Critics Association on Tuesday (January 8), the network honcho noted that Spears’ future on the show is still up in the air, but answered in the affirmative when asked if he wanted her to return to the judges’ table.
“I think Britney did a really good job. She came on, people remain fascinated by her and always will be. People got to know her a little bit, maybe some people were waiting for more drastic displays of some nature that never came [Ed note: code for "meltdowns"]. She tucked in really nicely on that bench,” Reilly said. He also felt that while this season’s ratings were lower, the show was better overall.
