Britney Spears may be suffering from a broken heart and dealing with an X Factor departure, but the pop icon is about to have her pockets fatter than ever. On Friday (January 11), it was reported that Spears was looking to possibly join the ranks of artists like Celine Dion and Shania Twain who have all done high-paying residencies in Las Vegas. New details have emerged that Spears is very close to inking a deal and TMZ reports that it’s going to be “enormously lucrative.” Just what is “enormously lucrative,” you ask? Over $100 million a year.
While Celine earns $100 million annually for her Vegas run, TMZ says Brit is looking to top that, calling the sum “astronomical.” The biggest negotiations are not even about the money. Spears and her reps are debating upon whether or not the singer will be making the ancillary appearances beyond the amphitheater performances — including nightclub cameos, pool day clubs and hotel visits. If those are the only things stopping Spears from breaking the bank, she should totally comply. Gladhanding with the lowly riff raff at the pool is a small price to pay for such a high price.

Don’t worry don’t think she will get the gig in Vegas. If XF dropped her Vegas won’t want her either. I live in Vegas now and wouldn’t pay a penny to see her. She still lip synch’s live.
OMG what is going on First Britney is dropped from XF then splits w boyfriend, now eying Vegas gig? This woman has such issues so why would any Vegas Casino pay her a dime to perform there? She was terrible on XF and her issues were magnified on national tv. I wouldn’t pay to see her live. She’s a has been.
