Back in December we hit the pop jackpot and got the chance to hang with Icona Pop backstage before their show at New York City’s Terminal 5. When we finally managed to regain our composure once the Swedish duo welcomed us into their dressing room with open arms and snacks (these were the ladies responsible for one of our most-loved EPs of 2012, after all), we got down to business.
First we grilled Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt on their favorite music of 2012, then we played a little interview game based on several of their Iconic song titles. Watch above as the gals spill on good “Manners” and etiquette, how best to get “Ready For The Weekend” and who is Iconic to them.
