Britney Spears’ “Gimme More” Femme Fatale Tour Remix
Now that Britney Spears is free from the demanding schedule of The X Factor and has no significant other stealing away her attention, she seems to be on a mission to churn out new music and conquer Vegas. Of course, this is great news for Brit fans, since we’ll soon be sampling new flavors from the icon. For now, though, we have an amuse-bouche in the form of a “Gimme More” remix.
Simon Ellis, the musical director for Brit’s 2011 Femme Fatale tour, has posted a free download of the “Gimme More” remix used during that string of concerts. It blasts open the original track’s tightly wound dance energy, turning it into a cavernous, Lady Gaga-like theatrical number that could be coming from an S&M ball in a cathedral.
