Fans of The Voice will remember Season 1′s Casey Desmond, the renaissance woman from Boston on Team Adam Levine who made a serious splash in the final rounds. Now, Desmond is coming for Christina Aguilera‘s dip-dyed wig with a slick video for her new single “Bad Habit,” a snarling ’80s-inspired pop-rock jam that reminds us of Sky Ferreira before she went all “small pop.”
But the niftiest trick “Bad Habit” pulls is the bridge, where a pounding four-on-the-floor beat transforms the tune into a proper electropop anthem, and it’s an appealingly big sound for the fiery siren. Watch up top.
