Last fall, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis‘ independently-released LP The Heist crashed into the album chart at #2. And with their surprise hit single “Thrift Shop” now matching that peak on the Hot 100, it was inevitably time for them to bring their tongue-in-cheek hip hop shenanigans to The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The duo brought along suited-up guest vocalist Wanz along for the occasion, which not only turned out to be a treat for the audience (thanks to the over-the-top dancing by Ben Haggery, aka Macklmore), it was also quite a thrill for Ellen when the hit-makers surprised her with a denim jacket adorned with her likeness on the back as an early birthday present. Three guesses where these clowns bought it?
