Well, if Justin Timberlake‘s “Suit & Tie” beat was the audition, it appears Timbaland got the part. Jay-Z announced on his Life + Times site that he has added the super-producer to his Roc Nation lineup for management (Timbo’s still on Interscope for music). Hova’s entertainment firm manages several big names, including Rihanna, Shakira and Santigold, as well as newcomers Arlissa and Haim.
“Suit & Tie” is just the latest in a long list of collaborations between Jay and Timbaland. Their partnership includes hits like “Big Pimpin’” and “Dirt Off Your Shoulder,” and also a handful of forgotten (but still really good!) tracks like “Lobster and Scrimp.”
