Michael Buble Previews New Music (And Shows Off His Texting Skills) In Video Teaser

If Mariah Carey is the modern day Queen Of Christmas, then Michael Buble firmly established himself as the King of the holiday, after his Christmas LP ruled the winter season in 2011 and proved to be a mainstay on the charts this past year, as well. But let’s not forget that the Canadian crooner also has quite the storied pop career under his belt, having won his most recent Grammy for his 2009 album Crazy Love (which contained the radio smash “Haven’t Met You Yet”).

Today Buble teased his fans by premiering a very short video clip that features him singing a brand new song, thus throwing his hat in the ring of artists whose new albums we can expect sometime in 2013.

In the above clip, Michael sits in a dressing-room mirror, texting away while his hair is being primped, and singing atop an upbeat, piano-driven track, “I don’t know why you think that you could help me when you couldn’t get by by yourself.”

So far there’s no official song (let alone album) title being mentioned, but the video ends by noting, “New Music Is Coming…”
