Simon Cowell‘s The X Factor seems to be in panic mode after their $15 million experiment on Britney Spears didn’t pay off in the ratings department. Taking a page out of the post-Cowell era of American Idol, the show has been rejiggering its lineup this off-season, first as judges Britney Spears and L.A. Reid left the show. Now co-host Khloe Kardashian has gotten the ax, according to the New York Post, who so elegantly referred to her as “the towering reality star.” It’s hard to believe that a person with so much reality TV experience didn’t actually have the chops to host a show. It’s like hosting requires talent or something!
Khloe’s counterpart Mario Lopez will keep his job, and while there’s no word yet on whether they’ll bring in someone to replace Kardashian, there’s speculation that Cheryl Cole could be returning to the judges’ table. Cole is suing the show for $2 million after they fired her during season one, so the gig could be part of a settlement. That’s sure to make for some great chemistry.
Does anyone else think maybe the golden days of singing competition shows are over? Or maybe Shakira and Usher will be the white knights that save us with their stint on The Voice.

Khloe should be fired ! She first of all , had no experience in hostinfg, that was obvious , second she does not seem to know what size clothes she wears….everything was so tight she could barely move and she looked redicilous! And third,she is so homely……they should put someone with Mario to compliment his good lookd!
I thought Khloe did a good job hosting for her first time..come on people! She was sweet and had humor and I thought she fit in great. Brittney was a very boring host…she was robotic and Demi was not good. She was not consistant at all. I really like X FACTOR better then the Voice for sure. It is just done better and highlights the contestants. The Voice is All about the Vain egos of the so called judges….it is ridiculous. Levine is so arrogant and has a horrible Voice…who is he to judge a singer?? Levine is a joke.
X factor and Idol are still the best shows and I hope they stay on the air. Yes Anything Adam Lambert will do will be GOLD…he is Phenomenal AND Adam Lambert is the ONE they are trying to find again and CAN’T…he is the talent that no one can compete with…just try…No one has his Total Package of talent and Charisma and Hotttness! The mold has been broke..Shattered!
