PSY’s “Gangnam Style” (Remember That?) Remixed By Diplo With Help From 2 Chainz & Tyga: Listen
Remember when Diplo said he hit the studio with PSY and 2 Chainz, and at the time it was sort of a big deal but that was in December and now it feels like it may as well have been in December 2003, because really, “Gangnam Style” in this day and age? No thanks! Well, here it is, the fruits of their collaboration. After three months of waiting…we get a measly “Gangnam Style” remix.
To be fair, Diplo completely reworked the track, turning it into a barely recognizable club banger with serrated electro and 808s. The remix features Tyga and 2 Chainz, because the word “featuring” after a song title is basically the 2 Chainz version of the Bat Signal. It’s a fun listen, but there’s absolutely no reason for it to exist in March of 2013. Check it out below.
