Vince Vaughn is returning to host Saturday Night Live on April 13 after first landing the gig in 1998 (!) when he was promoting that Psycho remake. We have no idea how he didn’t make his way onto Studio 8H at some point in the interim with Old School and Wedding Crashers and the like, but no matter, because he’s here now and he’s bringing along Miguel as the musical guest!

This is wonderful, because Miguel is a great live performer and he was only given two minutes to show it at the Grammys. Now he’ll get two songs, and maybe even a sketch or digital short thrown in.

Anyone else noticing a trend with SNL‘s recent musical guests? Frank Ocean, Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars have all performed in recent months, so the show is becoming something of a Medici family to these R&B renaissance men. This is also wonderful. So, when is The Weeknd going to creep out fans of live comedy sketch shows?
