Birdman, Nicki Minaj, Drake Pay Hospital Visits To Lil Wayne Following His Seizure

Last night (March 16), soon after Lil Wayne was confirmed to have suffered from his second seizure this week, friends and fellow YMCMB affiliates visited the rapper in Los Angeles. Both Nicki Minaj and Drake were snapped as they separately exited Cedars-Sinai Hospital, after Cash Money president and co-founder Birdman was spotted outside.

Their visits come after an outpouring of support and well wishes, plus criticisms aimed at initial reports, from the greater hip-hop community. Ronald “Slim” Williams, Birdman’s brother and Cash Money’s other co-founder, called in to Chicago radio station WGCI 107.5 FM to refute TMZ’s first statements that Lil Wayne was in critical condition and an induced coma. Young Money president Mack Maine has also spoken out against TMZ and its “the nonsense about the comas and tubes to breathe.” On Twitter, he said that the label will soon release an official statement about Lil Wayne’s condition.
