Tegan & Sara Perform “Closer” At The mtvU Woodie Awards: Watch
Our beloved Tegan and Sara have been keeping quite busy lately with all kinds of tricks — touring the country, namely — but they made a pit stop at the mtvU Woodie Awards (catch up with all the coverage over at MTV), where they performed their still-brilliant-after-all-these-months single “Closer,” taken from their sublimely gorgeous recent LP Heartthrob. (They also cohosted the show because, well, they’re supremely likable.)
The sisters Quin kept the energy high in leather jackets, playing to a lively crowd who knew all the words. (Obviously.) Ah, Tegan and Sara, we couldn’t just be your friends.
