Little Mix Perform “Wings” For Sirius XM In First North American Performance: Watch

The lovely ladies of English girl group Little Mix (just think of them as the female equivalent of One Direction and this will get much easier) have just begun a stateside launch with their infectious single “Wings,” and the group had their inaugural North American performance yesterday at Sirius XM, performing an acoustic rendition of that song. Given that they were formed on The X Factor in the UK, their voices sound predictably on-point, although the song is a surprising choice for American mainstream radio. (Surely “DNA” would have been better, girls? Nope? Okay, just us, then.)

At any rate, the girls — Leigh-Anne, Jade, Jesy and Perrie (she’s the one who was dating Zayn Malik, Directioners, but surely you already know that) looked a little over-the-top; the aggressive East London-meets-Harajuku Girls styling might be overkill — but when they sound this good, who cares?

Watch up top.
