Remember Florrie? Of course you do — she’s the impossibly gorgeous house drummer for acclaimed English production team Xenomania who’s been quietly releasing brilliant electropop for the last few years, mostly free downloads without label support. (Check her Popping Up for more on that.)
But now she’s heading out with an even bigger sound and a mighty impressive video for her new track “Live A Little,” a jazzy, drum-heavy track with a soaring chorus and vocals that pack unexpected power.
If the song is great, the video is even better: Featuring rapidly proliferating Florries on a string of instruments in a chic warehouse space, “Live A Little” serves as a promotional video for the Sony headphones XBA-C10 In-ear headphones (sure!) — but more importantly, it serves as a promotional video for how Florrie is the coolest new pop star on the rise.
