Daft Punk To Release New Single On April 15?
So far, Daft Punk have built up anticipation for fourth album Random Access Memories with snippets of “Get Lucky,” a song featuring Chic‘s Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams. However, according to French DJ Life Like, Daft Punk will premiere new single, “Fun Radio,” on Monday, April 15.
“Good news, our french robots DaftPunk will premiere their new single next week on the french radio ‘Fun Radio’, i didnt say anything :)” Life Like said on Twitter, as reported by Gigwise. “Monday … Fun Radio … DP premiere …” Life Like has since deleted his tweets.
Although Rodgers confirmed his collaboration in August 2012, and Daft Punk first announced a new album in January, the powerhouse duo has yet to release a single off Random Access Memories, out May 21. For now, watch their “Get Lucky” teaser from Coachella and revisit Chic’s “Le Freak” after the jump.
