For the second week in a row, a heart-tugging ballad tops the Billboard Hot 100. Pink and Nate Ruess‘ belly-achin’ duet “Just Give Me A Reason” topples Bruno Mars“When I Was Your Man,” the latter of which spent a lone week at #1. It’s somewhat of a moment of sweet revenge for Pink, whose Greatest Hits… So Far!!! single “Fuckin’ Perfect” had to settle for the runner-up position in early 2011 while Mars’ “Grenade” was sitting pretty at #1.

In addition to being her third consecutive Top 10 hit from latest LP The Truth About Love, “Just Give Me A Reason” now marks Pink’s fourth trip to the top of the Hot 100, following her 2001 collaborative effort “Lady Marmalade” (which also featured Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim and Mya) from the Moulin Rouge soundtrack, 2008’s “So What” and 2010’s “Raise Your Glass.”

As for Nate Ruess, he previously hit #1 with his band fun.’s Grammy-winning smash “We Are Young,” last year.

So, well done Pink and Nate. Raise your glasses, etc.
