Miley Cyrus Covers ‘Elle’ UK (Twice!) & Looks Pretty Awesome Doing It
Untamed songstress Miley Cyrus is on the cover of Elle in the UK next month — not just once, but twice. Twice! Two covers. Count ’em. The first features Cyrus (and her Robynesque ‘do) sporting a Lanvin jacket (Kanye West would be so proud) and Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane jewelry; the second cover is a close-up shot, showing Cyrus with bare shoulders in black-and-white. It’s a stunning shot, captioned “Miley: Rapunzel with a mohawk.” Yup. (The other one says “Miley Cyrus Inc. 400 million people can’t be wrong…?” which is also true, but not quite as compelling.)
The writer, Janice Turner, tweeted that Cyrus was a “smart, feminist gal” and “not what I expected at all.” Keep on keeping’ ’em on their toes, Miley. See the full covers below.
