Rihanna To Release “Right Now” With David Guetta As Her Next Single

Rihanna is ready for “Right Now” right now (sigh): The ratchet pop princess is following up the release of the now-ubiquitous ballad “Stay” and the grim “Pour It Up” with that song as her new single, and it’s probably a smart move. “Right Now” is a reasonably conventional dance-pop banger that aligns with the current sound of radio, and its almighty production roster is impressive (although it would probably be more impressive if the song would better) — The-DreamStarGate, Ne-Yo, David Guetta (who is featured as a credited artist) and Nicky Romero. Pardon us while we mop our brow.

Reportedly, the song is set to impact radio in the UK on June 24, although it already cracked the Top 40 chart in several countries — the UK, Australia, Canada and Japan, among others — upon and in the months following the release of Unapologetic. Guess those are just the perks of being #unalopogetic.
