Kendrick Lamar premiered the video for “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe” today (May 13), and while this one starts off in a church and feels like it’ll be just as heavy as his “Poetic Justice” clip, things soon liven up. The visuals alternate between a funeral (where everyone is wearing white, except for comedian Mike Epps, who’s in blue) and shots of K-Dot rapping solo out in the wilderness. Once the funeral party leaves the church, it becomes a funeral party.

So why is everyone so happy and popping so many bottles? You’ll just have to see whom (or what) they’re paying their respects to at the end.
