Ciara was served papers Saturday, June 8, by a West Hollywood gay bar during her headlining L.A. Pride performance. The bar, Factory, claimed that Ciara had reportedly signed a $10,000 deal to perform on Friday night, while Ciara’s management said that she was only appearing at L.A. Pride this weekend.

Her management reportedly notified Factory that Ciara’s commitment to L.A. Pride early would not be upheld last week. “The reason for the continued marketing/promotion is unclear, as it is not known why The Factory would intend to continue to mislead the public, to cause damage to the L.A. Gay Pride festival and to attempt to portray Ciara in a negative light,” a rep for Ciara said, according to TMZ.

On June 4, Ciara’s management said that her L.A. Pride performance will be her only one that weekend. Since then, Factory has repeatedly fired back on Twitter with alleged emails and photos of the lawsuit for breach of contract. On Saturday, when Ciara was handed the lawsuit, she took a quick glance only to let the papers drop to the ground. Watch the clip up top, then check out her L.A. Pride performance of “I’m Out.”
