It’s basically a scientific fact that Kelly Clarkson can do no wrong. (Have you ever met someone who doesn’t like Kelly Clarkson? Exactly.) Accordingly, her single to follow up the inspirational one-two-punch of career retrospective “Catch My Breath” and uplifting stormer “People Like Us” will mark a change of pace as she takes a sharp left turn into country with a track titled “Tie It Up,” which she premiered at the CMA Festival on Saturday, June 8. (There’s also cover artwork, which sees her wearing a white veil, which is just like, ugh, Kelly. I’m so happy for you.)

The only video of the performance is so low-quality that it’s barely worth posting, but you can still hear the song’s winsome stomp and clever hook, so brace yourself and give this a spin. (And Kelly, anytime you want to premiere the full audio, that’ll be just fine by me.)
