Ibrawlator: Fifth Harmony Vs. Little Mix, Which Girl Group Will Reign?

Idolator Staff | June 12, 2013 9:34 am

Sure, we’ve all seen (and heard!) the reign of boy bands like The Wanted, Big Time Rush and One Direction on the radio for the past few years. But it’s time to move over boys, ’cause the girls are getting ready to take over.

Right now, there’s two promising girl groups currently leading the pack — both hailing from X Factor! — that are preparing to dominate in 2013: Fifth Harmony and Little Mix. They’ve both got loads of talent, but only one will ultimately take the crown(s).

So, here’s the question: Which girl group will reign in 2013?

In one corner: Fifth Harmony, the X Factor USA-slaying fivesome who have since gone on to amass a loyal base of #Harmonizers, perform jaw-dropping covers of tracks like Taylor Swift‘s “Red” and Ed Sheeran‘s “Lego House,” and ready the release of their sure-to-be major lead single, “Miss Movin’ On” later this week.

In the other corner: Little Mix, the fabulous foursome of X Factor UK, who not only did became the first group in history to take the title during the UK competition, but also snatched the record for highest UK girl group debut in America with their chart-topping DNA, besting even the Spice Girls.

It’s now time to decide: Does Little Mix have the “Wings” to lift off and dominate the competition, or will Fifth Harmony harmonize their way to the top?

1.) Vote below in our poll. 2.) Join us on Twitter at 4 PM EST on Monday, June 17 for our #Ibrawlator debate.

The poll will close after the Twitter debate on Monday, June 17 at 11:59 PM EST. (We’ve extended the poll by a few more hours for a Sudden Death round!) Go, go, go!

UPDATE: We have a winner! It was a close race — but at just over 51% of the vote, Fifth Harmony takes the win!
