7 Questions With Classified: Watch The Rapper Talk About His Latest Album & All Things Canada
Rapper Classified is already a big name in Canada, but the Nova Scotia native is crossing the border and gaining a new audience in the U.S. with his first Top 10 single: “Inner Ninja,” a catchy, motivational tune with his fellow Canuck David Myles. When he stopped by Idolator headquarters, he talked about his latest album — and, of course, talked extensively about our neighbors to the north. (Admittedly, we asked a lot of questions.)
The rapper also talked about how he thinks hip-hop has changed over the years and citied artists like Drake, The Weeknd and K’naan who are helping to put Canada in the mainstream spotlight, before sharing an awesomely specific dream collaboration.
