Becky G, the promising young rapstress who was already Popping Up at age 15, will release her debut EP on July 16. While current mentor Dr. Luke took notice of her thank Watch the Throne‘s “Otis,” Play It Again may aim for wider crossover appeal.

Play It Again features a few guest producers and songwriters, including Pitbull, punk band the Jam, indie pop group the Cataracs and will.i.am, who last worked with Becky in 2012. The EP offers four new songs: “Lovin’ What You Do,” “Zoomin’ Zoomin’,” “Built for This” and “Can’t Get Enough,” also featuring Pitbull.

The EP’s named after a sharp song that Becky G, now 16, released a few months ago. In its accompanying video, the spunky MC roams through her Inglewood, Calif., neighborhood as she raps about “going animal,” appearing just as energetic as she did when she spat rhymes over “Otis.”
