Well, good morning, Monsters. You can just forget about the fact that Lady Gaga seemed to have recently faded away from Twitter, because it’s going to be quite a Mother Monster-y day — no, make that year — from here on out.

Following a New York dinner party last night attended by the shirtless chanteuse herself, wherein concrete ARTPOP details were finally announced, the following information was posted on Gaga’s Facebook this morning: 1.) The album’s first single is out August 19. 2.) On September 1, you can pre-order ARTPOP and an app, designed by something or other called TechHAUS and described as “a musical and visual engineering system that combines music, art, fashion and technology with a new interactive worldwide community.” 3.) Both the album and the app are out on November 11, with “an evening of artRave exhibiting Haus Of Gaga’s projects” as well as collaborations with Inez & Vinoodh, Robert Wilson, Marina Abramovic and Jeff Koons being held the night before. So happy holidays.

Incredibly, it’s only been two years, 7 million magazine covers and a whole lot of tour dates — both fully realized and cancelled — since Born This Way was released. Since then, Gaga has been working on third LP ARTPOP, an album that, at one point late last year, she said she’d banged out “like 50 songs” for.

In May, Gaga posted a photo of herself in the studio with producer Dallas Austin, and commented on the whole app aspect of her upcoming album:

“One of the things that came out publicly was that we’re working on an application right now, just because you can’t interact with an MP3. It’s very passive to get in your car, you turn on the radio and listen to a song. To actually engage with the music in an application, we feel that’s kind of pushing it towards the future and will probably become the standard. Just allowing fans to engage with the content. Back in the day, you open up your album, you read the liner notes, you read the lyrics, you wanna know everything there is to know about that artist. To be able to turn the album into a living, breathing thing.”

So here we are, on this Friday that was supposed to be notable for the arrival of new music from Justin Timberlake, but has now been sabotaged by the Gaga ARTPOP bombshell.

As for what we can expect, sound-wise, the announcement on Facebook says the album “musically mirrors Gaga’s creative process as she passes through the mediums of each artist she collaborates with, scoring a blueprint of her journey. The result, a ‘rage’ of electronic passion and fury, defining each artistic process from beginning to end, ARTPOP could mean anything.”
