When Fifth Harmony introduced “Me And My Girls” on Saturday (July 13) at Lansing, Michigan’s Common Ground Music Festival, the girl group made a request: “Let’s have some fun, okay?” Some fans asked the ladies to cover Beyonce, but Fifth Harmony had something else planned.

“Me And My Girls,” the group’s second single, is about a girls’-night-out-turned-karaoke session. The song shouts out to Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber and Britney Spears among others, but following its second breakdown — this being the time to “pop it, pop it,” as instructed earlier — the girls broke from their stage positions and cut to a brief interlude where they covered Katy Perry‘s “Teenage Dream.”

Just like that, Fifth Harmony segued from singing about karaoke to showing how an actual karaoke session with them would down. Watch the clip up top.
