Jessica Mauboy Embraces Her Inner Dance Diva On “To The End Of The Earth”: Listen

Jessica Mauboy is arguably Australia’s biggest pop star. Since finishing second on Australian Idol in 2006, the indigenous diva has scored five top 10 hits and ten gold or platinum singles — considerably better statistics than international heavyweights like Kylie Minogue and Sia have managed over the same time period. Best known for her soulful voice and urban-pop tunes, J-Malley has decided to mix things up by introducing her third studio album with a killer dance track called “To The End Of The Earth”.

The atmospheric floorfiller was produced by LA-based production outfit Captain Cuts, who are probably best known for remixing songs for Britney Spears, Ellie Goulding and Marina & The Diamonds. It turns out to be good fit for the Aussie songbird. Jessica’s powerful pipes aren’t overpowered by the slick house beats and the towering chorus will be a hit in clubs and on radio. “To The End Of The Earth” bodes extremely well for the new LP.
