Chris Brown & Nicki Minaj Reunite With “Love More”: Listen

2013 is proving to be the year of Nicki Minaj features: The rapper has had numerous guest spots on some of the hottest tracks of the year (“#TwerkIt,” “I’m Out,” “Somebody Else”) — and her latest collaboration comes courtesy of Chris Brown‘s new single, “Love More,” off his forthcoming album X.

The two performed the song live for the first time at the BET Awards back in June, but now the singer has released the official version. This isn’t the first time they recorded a song together — Chris Brown had a guest spot on Minaj’s “Right By My Side” from 2012’s Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

The twerk-friendly beat of “Love More” is reminiscent of the classic dance-off scene in The Proud Family Movie that was centered on pop, locking and dropping it. If a video is to follow the single, there’s no doubt Ms. Minaj will be popping her booty. She also continues her winning streak of verses with rapping in one of her (many) signature accents. X, Brown’s sixth studio album, will be released on August 20.
