Solange Cancels European Festival Dates

Europe, you may be losing Solange for good: The R&B songstress was slated to appear at a series of European festival dates later this summer (she killed it at Bonnaroo last month), but has canceled all of them for personal reasons. As she explained, she’s relocating to a new city (where?), starting her son in a new school (oh!) and working on a new album (yes!), she’s too busy to tour.

That means she’s dropping out of festival dates in Poland, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Portugal, Sweden and Belgium. Boo.

As she explained it in a statement:

I am completely devastated to announce that I will be canceling my international festival dates for the Summer. I wish I could put in words how much of a difficult decision this was…but between moving part time to a new city, starting my son in a new school, and writing/ recording my new record…I really had to make the best decision for my mental/physical health and provide some stability for my family. I am so so sooooo sorry if Ive disappointed…… and really hope to make it out to those special cities soon enough!”

In other news, the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour was definitely sold out in all those countries.
