Ariana Grande Teases “Better Left Unsaid”: Listen To The ‘Yours Truly’ Power Ballad
Ariana Grande is back to previewing songs from her eagerly-awaited debut album today (August 2) after drawing fire for unveiling the year’s most unsettling cover art. That’s been scrapped in favor of something less icky, so I guess we can turn our attention back to the (very good) music. The second snippet from Yours Truly — we were blessed with bubblegum pop track “Piano” earlier in the week — is the talented diva’s first real power ballad.
Ari showed us some of her range on “The Way” and “Baby I” but the 20-year-old chases high notes like Khia chases loose change on this gem. It will be interesting to hear the full version. This sounds like it could well explode into a dance track, which would be an interesting fit for the Instagram pioneer. Listen to “Better Left Unsaid” after the jump.
