Jessie J Premieres “It’s My Party”: Hear The Feisty New Track
Jessie J previewed her new single “It’s My Party” with fans during a Google+ Hangout last week, and today the Marie Claire cover girl has premiered the full song. It’s a catchy little kiss-off (“It’s my party / I do, do what I want / So while you sit and watch me / I’ll keep dancing alone”), with crunchy guitars balanced out by some glossy production.
That sounds like standard pop fare, but Jessie sells it, as she’s at her rocking-est here. Of course, this also means she’s at her yowliest. Hear the new song below.
(Rather cleverly/annoyingly, the stream has her own “jessiej.com” audio tag throughout and we are praying to the gods of pop that this doesn’t become common practice for big artists.)
