Cher Is *Not* Happy About “The Greatest Thing” Leak, Is Happy About Lady Gaga’s “Applause”
Lady Gaga and Cher‘s “The Greatest Thing” was never supposed to be heard by the public, according to Cher, but yesterday (August 13) the track leaked online. Fans of both divas seemed to dig the uber-campy anthem, but Cher is understandably pissed about the leak. So on Tuesday, the icon spoke her mind on Twitter, which she does more and more these days.
For starters, Cher says the leaked track wasn’t even the final mix. “FUCK ! IT’S NOT EVEN THE RIGHT FUCKING VERSION!!! WHY DO PPL THINK THIS KINDA LEAKING SHIT IS OK,” she wrote, adding “Disappointed( Ive Sat on fkng song 4 over a yr ).”
Amidst all the frustration, though, she also threw in some praise for Gaga’s “Applause,” to which Gaga responded. Check out the Twitter hate- and love-fest below.
