Riff Raff Responds To Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” Verse, Everybody Can Go Home Now

Riff Raff has broken his legendary silence regarding Kendrick Lamar‘s incendiary “Control” verse in a most Riff Raffian way. The hip-hop meme/enigma/genius/savant has crafted “Ballin’ Outta Control,” a simple response track that he tweeted is “NOT A DiSS” and is merely meant to “LET EVERYONE KNOW WHO HAS THE BEST VOCABULARY & iMAGiNATiON iN THE RAP GAME.”

The “not a diss” claim plays out in the lyrics, as he mainly raps about his jewelry (“Rocks on my hand / Grand Canyon”) and drops a bunch of boastful (I think?) non sequiturs. And at one point he even wishes K-Dot love and success: “I hope you have a beautiful family / And your label is successful financially.”

As with everything Riff Raff, it’s unclear whether it’s completely wack or completely brilliant. Either way, it’s probably not the type of response Kendrick was going for. Check out the song below.
