After what was a fairly tumultuous week for Chris Brown, the embattled R&B superstar managed to find the time to drop the subtly futuristic video for “Love More” featuring Nicki Minaj, the third single from his yet to be released album X. Comedian Nick Swardson pops up as Jamie Kennedy‘s character from Malibu’s Most Wantedridin’ dirty with Breezy and a harem of video fodder as they arrive at a club that’s practically overrun with scantily clad, twerking women. Brown goes on to have dance offs with a bunch of ladies…and…that’s pretty much it.

The track itself remains a pretty standard R&B/club banger, full of burping synth lines, heavy bass wallops, and a handful of soulful, if bland, hooks. Minaj, of course, steals the show with lewd, sharply constructed verses (“On the low I used to holla at his homie, uh / Fuck it, now I’m about to ride him like a pony”), while doing her usual, cartoonish mugging for the camera. At this point, for better or worse, it seems like these two can make videos (and for that matter, songs) like “Love More” without really breaking a sweat.
