Britney Spears is gearing up for a secret premiere as an “All Eyes On Me” countdown surprisingly popped up on her official website. But what does it all mean? We have to wait until September 17 to find out! Across the pond, One Direction‘s Zayn Malik & Little Mix‘s Perrie Edwards announced their engagement at the 1D This Is Us movie premiere – um, what? Also, Cher premiered her over-the-top, wigalicious video for “Woman’s World.”

Lastly, in retaliation towards his Lady Gaga feud (which literally took over everyone’s Twitter timelines for days), Perez Hilton re-introduced the #JusticeForBionic campaign in support of the underrated Christina Aguilera album to much controversy. Speaking of Mother Monster, her anticipated video for “Applause” premiered on Monday and her debut album The Fame celebrated its 5th anniversary!

Check out some of this week’s best comments below!

:: When we asked what Mother Goose — err, Mother Monster was worried about here when she appeared as a swan in the “Applause” video for this week’s Caption This, Michael B. could tell instantly: “She’s worried what Joan Rivers will say after Bjork wears her to the Oscars.”

:: Lady Gaga’s response letter to the Little Monsters’ death threats caused a frenzy, with Jake commenting on Lady Gaga Tells Her Fans That Sending Death Threats To People Maybe Isn’t The Best Idea: “Does anyone else feel like that letter is one kool aid drink away from sounding like a cult leader wrote it?”

:: Jj56 also retorted pretty harshly (but fairly): “Stephani is dillusional. Most of her ‘little monsters’ are rabid obsessed children with no confidence that they need to look up to a Popstar who exploits her fanbase, for guidance. The dynamic of this is so disgusting. They are the worst behaved and angry fanbase when anyone criticizes their ‘Mother Monster’. The titles that they gave each other is absolutely pathetic.”

:: On Avril Lavigne Gets Rough & Tumble In Rowdy “Rock N Roll” Video: WatchMarchbanks jokes: “zomg but the creators of Tank Girl ought to be cranking up for an IP infringement action.”

:: sheila was NOT happy about Enrique Iglesias’ new video on Enrique Iglesias Turns Up, Takes His Shirt Off In “Turn The Night Up” Video: “This is so bad! Its so horrible and in the worst taste of music. Im a little sick just seeing it and also how bad enrique looks. WTF happened to him? He aged terrible!!”

:: Many people had a lot to say about Lady Gaga‘s new video, including Suhas Gotla on Lady Gaga’s “Applause” Music Video: Watch: “The video to me was very disappointing, but looking at it as an art video, it is quit awesome. Especially Boticelli’s Venus reference, and the tragedy/comedy get up where she’s in the bird cage. It’s no Bad Romance or Paparazzi, but a new breed of Gaga videos. However, a little less art bombs and a little more dancing would be greatly appreciated.”

:: Theo responded to our own Carl Williott’s quip on the visual, saying: “You just saw Gaga flying, hand-painted, as a f- goose, and you’re telling me there’s no ‘wow’ factor.”

:: On Justice For Christina Aguilera’s ‘Bionic’: A Revolution Begins, the comments got quite heated! blaackeagle said: “Remember, that Lady Gaga will remain in minds as a copycat girl – she copied Xtina, then Madonna, then Bowie. I don’t hate her – I love her Born This Way album – I love her voice – BUT – she always leaves an impression that she is not fully sincere with public, like an intuition coming from your heart in the end. This will definitely will lead to a huge failure as the truth is always coming to surface. So I blame her for stealing Xtina’s image over that difficult period for Aguilera. Bionic is an unusual album, really misunderstood…”

:: Maria Theresa Wheaton joined in the debate: “Are you all seriously buying this? Bionic was horrible and only had a handful of maybe hits. That video for Not Myself Tonight was a try hard rip off (Madonna) mess. Honestly tho, all you Aggie fans, if she was truly the legend you think she was, truly had the influence you think she did, there is no way some unknown artist could have swayed the general public away from her music. The music was bad, most of it, not all, she did not promote enough, and she had a bad attitude.”

:: Lastly, hipsterbuzz summed it up quite bluntly on Avicii Teams Up With Pitbull For Official “Wake Me Up” Remix: “Ummm……Ummmmm……are we being punked?”
